It's not in the DEATH

"Tadpa-Tadpa ke marange" a most repeated dialogs of villains in a many movies, intention is very clear - more the pain.

After the attack on local trains, me and my few friends from Delhi n mumbai were chatting on net and were discussing the mind and the mind-set of terrorists.

we discussed that they can attack on anything they want, we made the list by brainstorming our 4 minds and and I am very thrilled to tell u that the few things I remember which are happening as it is.

In that list : Godown / warehouses of food, oil, drugs and fuel, banking servers, power stations, filter houses ( or a system that provides water to the city), most used public places, No and low security areas, ATMs and we concluded with the hospitals.

Instead of mass destruction n death or killings they are more focused to install the terror in different way. It is time to realize that the real terror is not in the death n destruction but in the pain and in the wounds and terrorists doing it better.

I feel shame, anger n pity over media and the politicians that they are thanking god for not much deaths and low intensity blasts but please be aware, come out from the illusion and watch the number of injured people, their brutal pain and the heart burning wounds. Terrorists has succeeded by planting and exploding low intensity blasts for the highest intensity of pain and sufferings. Keep in mind that low intensity blasts does mean that less killings and maximum pain.

Now, they are not interested in killing large number of people but to hurt many by any means, people does not fear death but pain - none of us is an exception.

I am certainly not surprised on their attack on hospitals, but if we really consider the above list then more surprises are yet to come. Imagine n realize the economic condition of nation and situation in our home and imbalance in the society if warehouses got wounded.

At this point of time government must decide either to fulfill the wants of the terrorists or to finish them. Amongst the terrorist and the politicians I like terrorists coz they are less dangerous than politicians and specifically politicians in the opposition.

PS: Either we must capture entire Kashmir or to release how much of we have, because its a real  cause of the the problems.

Tatyarao Lahane

He is the one with passion who enabled the "dreams of the blinds " into the reality.

A man who knows how important life is and how it is valuable for
others too.

Born in a farmer's family in a village in Latur District of Maharashatra, came to Bombay for his own kidney transplant, as
both of his kidneys were not functioning. His mother donated one of her kidneys, thus giving him a rebirth of sorts.

In my experiences all around he is the Unique eye sergon with no
opticals (as compair to his age)

He learnt the meaning of egoless serving form "BABA AMTE" so He Serves his mastery as being Head of Ophthalmology Department in J J Hospital - Mumbai, organizes eye checkup camps all over the state, particularly in the rural n tribal areas.

He stressed about the importance of the latest equipment, the operator of the equipment is more important. His team spirit was
vital for the success of the operations.

He is Dr.Tatyarao Lahane, performed 35,000 surgeries without
using medical stitches during operations.

He created a world record by performing 100,000 cataract successful operations.
(Cataracts: are a common cause of vision loss, especially as we age)

Among the 100,000 phaco-emulsification procedures
(the most
common surgical procedure for removing cataracts)
Tatyarao Lahane has done, 1,211 were performed on leprosy patients at Baba Amte's Anandvan in Warora near Nagpur.

So many phaco-emulsification procedures on leprosy patients is in itself a world record that he wasn't so far publicized.

He said,"there will be no blinds in India if we bring Eye bank to
every town and donate the eyes. we have very less eye banks than news channels. To reduce the gap between the people in need of eyes and those willing to donate, it is necessary to bring
awareness about eye donation, according to an ophthalmologist.

In Maharashtra, 35,000 people needed eyes and only 10,000 to
15,000 had been donated for corneal transplant. To meet the gap, more and more people should donate their eyes."

He said in accidents, many times head or eye injury caused blindness. The only remedy for such blindness was corneal transplant But corneal transplant and it was possible only if eyes
were available.

Man in black is Dr. Lahane

P.s.
Another eye surgeon Balchandra had performed 86,000 operations earlier in a span of 35 years.

Earlier, two Indian eye surgeons Modi and Reddy had set a world
record by performing over 250,000 cataract operations. They were banned by the government because of their high failure rate.

Hell of WHEN

My friend Kalyani Gadgil who is Chemistry professor at university of Auckland - NZ and writes for Marathi News paper Lokmat, recently she told us about an incredible incident happened in NZ through her marathi article to the Lokmat.

It is all about unity, duty, responsibility, ability to stand positive to make wrong things RIGHT and awareness.

Here the incident begins,

NZ court punished the builder for his terrible irresponsibility, he paid total 100000 $ for his doings..... I know the question raised is "WHY"

The builder cleared a big part of a land for the purpose of construction, he broke the huge trees n some little hills, builder threatened the people when they opposed him. So the people unite and decided to teach him lesson and filed the case against him.
Result was in favor of the people, court fined him 80 thousand $ for his irresponsible act and 20 thousand $ more for tree plantation. Wise people always get right justice. We must learn in order to actualize the lesson learnt.

Kalyani asks, "WHEN we INDIANS will stand UNITE to kick-out irresponsible n inhuman systems?"

I remembered my lines in last post i.e. earth is in danger not because of the ppl who are poisoning her but because of the ppl who are doing nothing about her. when I look around, I see many INDIANS doing nothing.

Are we getting more self-centric as we progress, What really we need to DO?....... relax, I am not putting any suggestion.

As per my experiences at many places I found. WE people hesitate to group or Unite and FEAR to support who are really doing good. And as I told before many times, in my blogs n comments i.e. the concept we practice and perhaps enhancing it day-by-day.... it is "INDIANS HATE INDIANS", a very reason for not moving ahead.

With this kind of attitude HOW we can put some LIGHT, examples and ways for the betterment to our kids and certainly to the next generation? why to give them chance to hate n blame us for our lethargy n dysfunctionality. Our lethargy is literally going to pain them.

Credit taking ability: I hate many ppl who do plant trees just for photographs n certificates, they just plant and not care for them.

Neighborhood problems: My friend cut the big tree last month to avoid daily quarrels with his neighbor who couldn't tolerate single leaf fall on his roof n in the yard.

Judicial system: If decided to file a case, do we have really fast responses from the police n the court.... as I remember in around 2003 - during the expansion of pune-solapur highway, before court reacts 75% trees were vanished.

Everybody thinks that betterment must be done as early as possible, question is "WHEN?"

Perhaps everybody knew the answer but waiting for somebody else to do it first....
"WHY?"

Foundations, Organizations clubs, etc. are getting inaugurated everyday to save the earth.... I think they have their own limits, only pure "Interest" of the people can save this earth..... not foundations n organizations.

A New world Or No World?

A New world

OR

No World?

I always ask question to myself and REALIZED that

sometimes questions are more important than the answers,
the answers indeed are the end of the excitement that is in the questions
and It is better to know some of the
questions than all of the answers and
sometimes questions are never indiscreet but the answers.

Common, that was silly question.....
let us connect... collaborate n contribute
and we will continue with the

Same World

The world is a dangerous place because of 2 kinds of people
1) Not because of the people who are evil;
2) but because of the people who don't do anything about it.

Choice is ours whether we want No world, new world or SAME WORLD

The Links

Gandhiji said that the greatest lessons in life are learnt from children, not from learned men. A child will fearlessly try before giving up.

Read this sensible discussion.

Prof : So you believe in God?
Student : Absolutely, sir.
Prof : Is God good?
Student : Yes.
Prof : My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to God to heal him. Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But God didn't. How is this God good then? Hmm?
(Student is silent.)

Prof : That's right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world?
Student : Yes.
Prof : Evil is everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything. Correct?
Student : Yes.
Prof : So who created evil?
(Student does not answer.)

Prof : Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things exist in the world, don't they?
Student : Yes, sir.
Prof : So, who created them?
(Student has no answer.)

Prof : Science says you have 5 senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Tell me, son...Have you ever seen God?
Student : No, sir.
Prof : Tell us if you have ever heard your God?
Student : No, sir.
Prof : Have you ever felt your God, tasted your God, smelt your God? Have you ever had any sensory perception of God for that matter?
Student : No, sir. I'm afraid I haven't.
Prof : Yet you still believe in Him?
Student : Yes.

Prof : According to empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your GOD doesn't exist. What do you say to that, son?
Student : Nothing. I only have my faith.

Student : Professor, is there such a thing as heat?
Prof : Yes.
Student : And is there such a thing as cold?
Prof : Yes.
Student : No sir. There isn't. (The lecture theatre becomes very quiet with this turn of events.)
Student : Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat, mega heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat. But we don't have anything called cold. We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no heat, but we can't go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold. Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it.
(There is pin-drop silence in the lecture theatre.)

Student : What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?
Prof : Yes. What is night if there isn't darkness?
Student : You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light....But if you have no light constantly, you have nothing and it's called darkness, isn't it? In reality, darkness isn't. If it were you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn't you?

Prof : So what is the point you are making, young man?

Student : Sir, you are working on the premise of duality. You argue there is life and then there is death, a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can't even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life: just the absence of it.
Now tell me, Professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?
Prof : If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.
Student : Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?
(The Professor shakes his head with a smile, beginning to realize where the argument is going.)

Student : Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a preacher?
(The class is in uproar.)
Student : Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the Professor's brain?
(The class breaks out into laughter.)

Student : Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor's brain, felt it, touched or smelt it? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, sir. With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir?
(The room is silent. The professor stares at the student, his face unfathomable.)

Prof : I guess you'll have to take them on faith, son.

Student : That is it sir... The link between man & god is FAITH. That is all that keeps things moving & alive.

Prof : is there anything else within the body apart form the main parts like Brain, Lungs heart n kidneys which keeps us alive.

Student : Soul!! Soul is there, sir.

Prof : Did you felt soul , touched or smelt it? No one appears to have done so.

Student : soul keeps us alive. You may save the hart-attacked person by the shock treatment, but why we can't save a person using shock treatment who had natural death. that's why soul exists but we don't realize the existence.

Prof : (Smiled with bit anger) if soul is so responsible then there is no need of brain and heart.

Student : if brain n heart is everything then why we fail to provide life to the dead man.

Prof : (now lost more control) Ok.. for a moment I believe that there is something like soul, tell me how comes the soul?

Student : that is it sir, your question itself an answer

Prof : (with louder n irritated voice) I feel rather believe that you are deliberately weaving into the web of words and concepts.

Student : Can I say something for last time

Prof : Ok..

Student : did U saw any thread, material, chemical, particle or any thing or object using which I weaved the web to trap you

Prof : this is stupid question, I will not answer

Class: roared in chorus, "Sir, you must have to answer!!"

Prof : (felt quite dominated) ok..... I felt the web, Happy u r?

Student : It does mean that you felt the web?

Prof : ( this time bluntly) yes, and I will not repeat it again

Student : That is it sir... The 2nd link between man & god is BELIEF.
if you have faith n belief then you can fell n see anything no matter whether it is a god or a web. Faith develop beliefs, Beliefs develops trust. I believe n trust that god is there. Sir, Do U?

Class: clapped suddenly after pause of a few seconds and professor left out angrily

Why USA can't have female president?

Very recently my friend on iland ' SWATI 'raised the same question that was playing in my mind too and i.e. "Why U.S. can't have or can't afford female president?" am not bothered about what really happens in U.S. but I thought and like to share the possible cause of the question raised.

First of all, US has political system  is quite different than the other democratic political systems. In short U.S has dominative, assertive n aggressive politics for the rest of the world.

US has political interests n involvements with different standards in many parts of the world.

America has history of involvement in the Middle East. There are too many factors that require the president to keep in touch with most Middle Eastern countries: Iraq's government transition, oil demand and suspicious nuclear programs, Afghanistan issues to name a few.

In U.S interested countries like Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Afghanistan, women aren't granted all the rights that men have and in some places women don't have much rights, and they're definitely not viewed with the same admiration, In such situation it would be hard for a female president to control, manage and influence the things.

I am not against any religion or civilization but its fool to expect from the Islamic world (their values n standards for the females) to give proper respect n credibility to a female president. (coz of U.S's special interests)

Not only Hillary Clinton but Condoleezza Rice and others did had difficulties and will have difficulty rising to their fullest political potential because of the
"globalization of global women discrimination."

By considering the Indian female president (Hon. Pratibha Patil) there are other countries around the world run by women who are getting along just fine i.e. Chile, Liberia, Finland and Germany are all led by women. But most important thing is that these countries don't have a reputation, effect and influence like America does. It's in this context that one must look at the job of a female president

It's wrong or unfortunate enough that political leaders would treat a woman president unfairly, but the global public will surely form inferior judgments, too, yes - most predictably in Middle East.
People will roll their eyes or laugh at any overly compassionate decision made by a female president, blaming her actions on a woman's tendency to be radically emotional.

American mentality things that women's emotional nature is against the policies, methods and the intention of their " GLOBAL WAR AGAINST TERRORISM " they need a strong man to support this.

Many American's and the people in the world think that the countries who have female leaders are not equipped with powers to shake the world, they just make showoff of having female leaders and hence US prefer male leaders.

The main issue is that the U.S. can't maintain its influential and imperative role in the global community with the global interests for the personal benefits of USA.

In context with above things American people tend to think that male president is always better than the female.

These are the possible reasons that American voters are unwilling to elect female president.

Dr. Hema Sane

Botanical Life (Dr. Hema Sane)
------------------------------------------------------

It was 2002, Jogeshwari temple, ABC Pune. Along with my friend I was in the queue to pray the goddess with some unknown flowers in my hand. I asked my friend about the flowers, he was unaware about it too but he said, "it might be hybrid or processed with some artificial ways". After a little pause I heard a voice of lady, I looked back and she told everything about those flowers, I was just forgot to breath. She invited to us to visit her home, I took the address, and asked for the name n number, she said," I don't have telephone and my name is "HEMA". I thought she is a poor lady but with rich knowledge.

I was curious to meet her, so on very next day I reached the address given by her, I was just amazed coz I seen the place many times before and thought no one lives here.

I opened the broken gate, entered and I found myself in totally
different world. World of plants, grass, trees and flowers, and was shocked to see the hut (wooden roofed).

When I entered, she was making tea. I looked around n saw books n album like things everywhere. She gave me a cup of tea with totally different n unforgettable taste.

while chatting I was looking for switch board to light the tube, she understood my intention n said, "I don't need electricity so I don't have any bulbs or thing that needs electricity, I am not against electricity - I do understand that electricity is essential for several things, especially in the work of science, but I feels that it is redundant in my daily life."

I was speechless on her such a intent thought n way of living in the era where everyone is focused on the "standards of living"

on 5th visit to her in 2003: I was more curious and thought there
might be some things in the past that made her to live like this so
I decided to ask her.

While chatting I asked her to tell about her past and she replied,"
dear!!! ask me about the PLANTS not about the PAST."

She is always busy with students (Indians n foreigners), curious kids like me and visitors who know or heard about her distinctive quality work.

Once I asked her, "why don't you work professionally apart from
your job" and she replied, "then I will loose the innocence of helping to the students and to the nature."

One of the interesting thing about her is that she don't remember
faces n names most of the times... in my 5 visits, I introduced
myself thrice, she remembers everything after then.

I asked her, "what must I do so that you will remember me all the time." she replied, "just grow some rare plants on your head, I can remember plants n things attached with then and I can't remember names n faces....... that is my weakness.

She is one who dedicated her life for the "green gold" , a women
who is always away from the expectations, temptation and
attachment of material world designed by humans.

She is not poor, nor having lack of money, she was Dr. HEMA SANE worked in Dept. of Botany in University of Pune. A former head of the department of botany at the Abasaheb Garware College, pune. She is a Author and co-author of several botany books.

Dr. Hema sane has dedicated her life for the SCIENCE and the Botanical research, Botany is in her blood. She is the one who lives the natural life naturally.

You can visit: Dr. Hema Sane - 121, Budhwar Peth, Jogeshwari Temple Road, pune.
